Gangs of wasseypur 1 movie#
I have not seen a Hindi movie with so crude a language ever, absolutely not recommended for family viewing and children/teenagers. Apart from this, the movie is informative - it very subtly tells the audience all about the way Indian coal mafia has progressed over the years, the gang wars, the politics. Tigmanshu as Ramadheer Singh is terrific, his expressions too good. From the producer of THE LUNCHBOX (the most successful foreign-language movie of 2014), this is Indian cinemas answer to Coppolas, THE GODFATHER and Sergio Leones ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERICA. Gangs of Wasseypur (2012) is a Action Hindi film starring Manoj Bajpai,Richa Chadda,Nawazuddin Siddiqui,Tigmanshu Dhulia in the lead roles, directed by Anurag Kashyap. Siddiqui's role is brief in the first part and I have a feeling he will play a major role in the remaining part of this epic. Presented by Adi Shankar, Producer of A WALK AMONG THE TOMBSTONES, DREDD and THE GREY. From Manoj Bajpayee, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Piyush Mishra to Richa Chadha, we saw some stellar performances from all. Manoj Bajpai is amazing as Sardar (he really got into the character) and the narration (by one of the gang members) adds a lot of flavor to the entire flow of the movie. One of our favourite films, Gangs of Wasseypur, completed seven years on 22 June. This film has a total runtime of 320 minutes. Gangs Of Wasseypur Part 1 And 2 (2012) was released in 2012 by Eagle Home Entertainment Studios in DVD format, with an A rating. Shahid Khan is exiled after impersonating the legendary Sultana Daku in order to rob British trains. With the most lively and dramatic cinematography, the movie brings to life every detail of the story, leaving you with a complete audio-visual treat. From Shahid Khan to Sardar Khan to Sultan, you actually end up fearing them all - the characters are so beautifully portrayed. A son seeks vengeance when his father is killed by a coal mine owner. The way each character is introduced is terrific. The movie starts with a bang and carries the charm throughout. I have just returned from the first day late night show of this movie (the first part) and it has totally blown me away.
